Danita’s 25 years of talent management experience has involved creating methodologies, tools and approaches for blue chip clients from Yellowknife to Houston, and Halifax to Sacramento. After years in senior leadership roles within global consulting firms providing thought leadership, strategy and solutions for large scale transformation projects, Danita sought to design a consulting model and methodology that aligns with her business philosophy and values. Danita walks the learning talk; she’s a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), and holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Education, and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Communications.

Maxine’s 17 years of experience as a consultant, senior manager, adjunct faculty member and executive coach has significantly enhanced the capacity of individuals, teams, and organizations. She has designed learning and change methodologies for Canadian and international organizations and built leadership and team capability to bring them to life. Maxine sought to apply her love of business and psychology to co-creating a consultancy that is modern, human-centred, and delivers clear results.  Maxine holds degrees in Commerce and Organizational Development and is certified as an Professional Certified Coach and Project Management Professional.

Gabby is a fourth-year business student at the University of Alberta majoring in Business Economics and Law. Gabrielle is also a recipient on the Alberta School of Business' Leadership Certificate. 

Gabrielle is a fourth-year student at the Alberta School of Business majoring in Business Economics and Law. She is part of the tenth and final cohort of the Leadership Certificate Program. ​

In her work with Flip Learning, Gabrielle has developed digital and hard copy instructor and learner materials for multiple leadership development programs and supported the needs analysis and design process. ​

As a young woman in business, Gabrielle is passionate about facilitating change and making a positive impact within her school community.

Jessica is a results-driven global Human Resources executive with 20 years of Fortune 100 experience. She has deep expertise in talent acquisition, management and development, employee relations, organization development, and generalist HR. Jessica is often described as a trusted partner and a catalyst for change when it comes to developing talent strategies and transforming culture, and she is passionate about equity in education.

Rob brings more than two decades of dynamic instructional design, digital learning experience development, and production & content creation experience. He works with learners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at every level of the organization to analyze learning needs, identify skill and performance gaps and then design, develop, and implement innovative learning experiences that result in meaningful change for the individual contributors and for the benefit of the organization. When not creating digital learning experiences, Rob likes to hike, ride his bicycle, book, and contribute to local amateur theatre.

Kandis has found her passion in facilitating adults when she's not spending time with her family or out exploring nature. Kandis has over 25 years of experience across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, and has a strong industry, academic, and business background to complement her learning and development expertise. Kandis is committed to lifelong learning and is licensed as a Professional Engineer with APEGA and is certified as a Master Instructor and Adult Educator from NAIT along with having her Master of Education, specializing in Adult Education. Kandis is an Emotional Intelligence Coach, certified with the Emotional Intelligence Company Inc. (EITC - EQ-i 2.0/EQ 360 instrument) and a Six Sigma Green Belt Leader. Kandis brings expertise in: adult education and learning, course design, development, and professional facilitation, business & personal coaching, leadership, communication, team building, project management, strategic planning, operational process improvements, and policy and procedure development. Her goal is to combine practical learning approaches with business savvy strategies to positively impact the personal and professional lives of others. Kandis received extensive training on communication, leadership, and crisis intervention during her time as a volunteer with the Edmonton Police Service’s Victim Services Unit and being registered as an Emergency Medical Responder for over 17 years. Kandis is an active participant in the promotion and application of DEI practice improvements through her consulting company R3K Consulting, particularly focused on the under representation of women in both business and SETT (Science, Engineering Technology and Trades) environments. Kandis continues to advocate for DEI with partnerships with like-minded learning organizations.

Dr. Marvin Washington is most known as a Pracademic (practicing academic). The focus of his research, teaching, and consulting work is on leadership development and organizational change. Dr. Washington has also written three practitioner books focused on leadership, strategy, and organizational change. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Washington has taught leadership development to a wide array of organizations. He currently partners with Flip on select Leadership Development and EDI programs for Executives and Senior Leaders.

Paige is a 3rd year University of Alberta Business student majoring in Business Economics and Law and a minor in Women and Gender Studies with a Certificate in Sustainability. Her experiences range from marketing, to management systems creation, to data analytics. Paige has a passion for finding ways to uniquely add an equitable and inclusive lense into all aspects of her work. In her spare time, you can find Paige biking, hiking, skiing or travelling to new places.

Jessica has over 20 years of experience in a variety of areas, including Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization and Truth and Reconciliation work. As a female Indigenous mother of two and a Professional Engineer, she is passionate about building equitable frameworks and ensuring we all walk together in a good way as we build strong and vibrant communities. She is a trained KAIROS blanket exercise facilitator, has her mental health first aid, trained through the Fundamentals of Administrative Justice, is media trained and has extensive experience in public speaking. She consults through her firm, Guiding Star Consulting, working to convert thoughts of EDI and TRC into action.

Her professional passions led her to become certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional, and Change Management Practitioner. Janet is a results-oriented systems thinker who delights in building trusting client relationships and whose enthusiasm for improvement and problem-solving is contagious.
